Complaint Details:
I had purchased Samsung Series 7 LED on 14th June 2014. Along with it I had purchased extended warranty for 4 years which is valid until 13th June 2018.
– After about a year LED screen went bad and samsung happily replaced it without any issue.
– Again this month (August 17) LED screen has gone bad. I rasied a complaint and their engineer came and took all the pricture and collected every documents
– Issue is replacement part is not available with samsung and they are saying that they will re-imburse the depreciated amount.
– Their 3rd year depreciation which they communicated is 33% and 4th year it is 49%.
– Now my LED is 3 year 1 month old and they want to charge me entire 4th year depreciation which is not acceptable to me.
– My contention is charge me 4th year depreciation on pro-rated basis which they are disagreeing to.
First of all they sold me extended warranty and never informed me about product being discontinued.
Since twice we had the same problem so I think they sold me some degraded stuff.
Now its been more than a month and they are not resolving nor responding to this case.
I am seeking for any help to resolve this issue and get my money back. I understand there would be some depreciation to which I have agreed to 40% which I dont know if reasonable or not and on top of it you can understand the situation without LED at my home.
