My Lenovo P2 got wet during rains, it was just 2 months old. I wisited authorised Lenovo/Motorola service centre in Hyderabad. They told me that display was damaged due to water and needs replacement. I understand that water damage was not covered in warranty, so I checked for price of display and I was should to know that it would cost 8500INR. How can a phone selling for 12K INR, has it display costing 8.5K. it’s around 70% of phone cost. Does Lenovo deliberately forcing us to buy a new one and making repairs unaffordable. This is disgusting Lenovo, I never expected such cheap strategy from a global MNC brand like you. Probably it make sense when they say buy local brands, at least we can get them repaired. Hope some sense prevels to you and some one looks into long term brand value and sustainability than cheap quick profit strategy at Lenovo.
