Scam or fraud: Hyundai Motor India — ecm not working

Complaint Details:

My Hyundai i10 car is 5 years old with a total mileage of 20000 and well maintained. I had my last paid service in the month of April 2017 and after the service the car run hardly 250 kms. Now the car was toyed to the workshop as it was not getting started. The service center took 3 days to identify the problem as ECM failure and is asking me to replace the ECM which will cost me around Rs.40000/-.

Since I am seeing so many such complaints against i10 vehicle, I think we should bring this to the Company’s notice and insist for a free replacement. I have never seen this problem with other cars and I am sure this is mainly due to faulty ECM used by Hyundai in their vehicles.
